Janice Bishop, MD

Dr. Bishop grew up in the Seattle area, getting her B.A. degree with honors from Seattle Pacific University, and her M.D. with honors from the University of Washington School of Medicine. She pursued residency training in Family Medicine at Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura, California, and is Board Certified in the specialty of Family Medicine. Dr. Bishop has worked much of her career in rural California, with the Indian Health Service, county public health, as well as in private practice. Her special interests in medicine including providing care for underserved populations, women’s health, musculoskeletal problems, wellness and health promotion, and psychological health. She provides attentive, thorough, and compassionate care to all patients. Dr. Bishop lives with her family on Mercer Island and is an active member of the community.
